 Meet the team

  • Katherine

Katherine has owned the shop and provided her personal touch designing picture frames and managing the art gallery for the past 28 years. She provides excellent customer service and has created a regional art gallery that has weathered the decades supporting 100’s of professional artists from our area and filling homes with regional fine art.

  • Cindy

Cindy’s framing fundamentals began as an art student at Cal State Long Beach earning her BFA Degree. She started framing in Anacortes nearly 20 years ago. She learned the importance of conservation techniques early on. Her personal goal is to frame each piece of artwork as if it were her own.

  • Gwen

Gwen has put her artist's eye to good use designing framing for customers since 2011. At Scott Milo, she has added building custom picture frames to her list of skills and builds every beautiful frame that comes out of our shop. She is also our website manager.

  • framed canvas with liner

    Personalize it.

A linen liner adds depth, texture, and character to your framed canvas piece.

  • stacked frames on canvas

    Make it bold.

A design that incorporates more than one frame is called “stacking frames.” On this canvas painting, a bold glossy blue frame inside of the traditional wood frame highlights the blue accents throughout the painting.
